Supervision
For Social Work Supervisees Seeking Supervision
Group and individual training supervision services are available for LSWs seeking an independent license. Currently, group supervision occurs once per week for 2 hours. Each 2-hour group costs $60 per supervisee. There is a maximum of 6 members in each group. Supervision can take place via teleconferencing software with video or in person in Pickerington, Ohio. Clinical consultation for complex cases is available as well.
To obtain your LISW in Ohio, you must complete social work training supervision. You can begin the process of obtaining independent licensure once you have earned your MSW or MSSA, as well as Ohio LSW licensure. Training supervision is not always available through an employer. This resource should be readily available and reasonably priced. Cook Counseling and Consulting is remote and provides individual and group supervision options.
